Cam is 3 weeks old TODAY!

I can't believe that Cameron, or as he's known around our house - Baby Cam, is already 3 weeks old. It still seems like we just barely left the hospital. I guess that's how it goes, right? Time just flies by! Baby Cam is back on a sleeping schedule. For a while (4 nights in a row), he was staying awake between feedings and just crying the whole time. That was a super rough time between 12 am and 4 am. Chris and I were really starting to feel run down without sleeping and being frustrated with a super unhappy baby. We finally decided to try "gas" drops, aka Mylicon drops. They're for babies who swallow lots of air while they're eating. Cam eats really well, but what he does is he forgets to breathe while he's eating. Sound familiar? JD and I used to do the same thing - we're breath holders (that's what it's called). Anyway, Cam will eat and eat and eat and then stop and take a HUGE BREATH... this is when he's swallowing tons of air. SO, now that we're giving him the "gas" drops at night, he's sleeping in between feedings, WHICH IS SO NICE! Here's a new cute picture of Cam in his car seat. I JUST LOVE THIS KID!
Max is still really silly over Cam. He hugs and kisses him all the time. It's really cute. Cameron has even started turning his head toward Max when Max talks to him. Another milestone to celebrate: Max has "given" his crib to Baby Cam and Max is now sleeping in a toddler bed that my dad made for me, 25 years ago. Max LOVES his new bed and he has yet to realize that he can get out of his bed and play with his toys. I'm not going to let him in on that little gem because he stays put all night long. In the morning, he gets up and is ready to play, so he knows when he's supposed to get out and when he's not. It's really nice. Here's a funny picture of Max in the tub. He calls goggles "oggles" and he loves to wear them in the tub. He also loves to drink bath water (notice the straw?) which is totally gross, but who cares? He's a boy and if he doesn't get sick from it, I'm ok with it. It makes him happy. :o)

I love the picture of Max. It just makes me laugh.

As for how fast time is going. I couldn't believe we were going to Isabelle's 2 week on Monday.
