A couple of days before Halloween I had the kids try on their costumes to get used to them. This was Cam's reaction:
Pure joy, I tell you. Pure joy.
I was so glad when Halloween was over. Cam only wore his costume because I convinced him that he was just wearing fuzzy pants and a coat. When he finally looked in the mirror at the end of the day he threw the biggest fit! I hope he does better with this costume thing next year. SHEESH!
Pure joy, I tell you. Pure joy.The afternoon of Halloween, I took the kids to my dad's office to do some trunk-or-treating. They seemed to enjoy themselves:
Grandpa Baran, Sawyer the Frog, Uncle JD the Cowboy and his trusty horse, Cam the Dragon, and Max the Pirate. Argggg!

Then we went to Grandma Vi's house and the kids loaded up on more candy. Max wore a penguin costume for Grandma Vi since she loves loves LOVES penguins but he couldn't wait to get back into his pirate costume. Cam was a big fan on the wooden swing they have in their backyard - that is, until he had to get off. Then he was mad at everyone.
