Cameroon

Cameron's new favorite thing is to look out our front windows and bang on them and yell stuff. I just wonder what exactly he's yelling. Maybe he's trying to get someone's attention?? Who knows. Either way, it's super cute.

Blizzzzzzzzzzzard!

I really do like living in Utah in the winter, but I hate hate HATE weather like this:

Yes, I just barely took these photos. It is still snowing like crazy. I will NOT be going anywhere today! I'm sure by the end of this storm, the outside will look a lot worse, or at least, more white. Sheesh.....

And I thought our last storm was bad. The last storm left our neighborhood looking like this:
Not too shabby.

Candy Land?

While Max was LOVING a candy cane last week I decided to take some pictures. As you can see the by look on his face, he was not amused.

He really does make the weirdest faces. Chris says this comes from my side of the family.... and he's right.

Let the Cleanse BEGIN!

**Warning** This is a bit descriptive in a yucky way.

The dreaded Gambu virus FINALLY left our house. It arrived on Sunday morning and only seemed to have attached Cameron. Poor, poor Cam. He couldn't keep any food down and he just cried all the time. He just wanted me to hold him, in between all the barfing and extremely liquidy diarrhea. It was so so so sad. I think the first day, Chris and I changed Cam's bedding 4 times and did about 8 loads of laundry. JUST ON THE FIRST DAY! Day 2, Max joined in on the barfing. He threw up 3 times and he keeps reminding me how gross it was. Day 3, Cam was still sick and then Chris came home from work with the same thing. Miraculously, I still haven't gotten sick and Max seems totally fine. Cam is doing much better today and he's finally able to keep some food down. He's not back to his crazy busy self yet, but it's kindof nice to just have a mellow kiddo for once. Max is, of course, back to his crazy, loud, super busy self.

I seriously hope that none of you or your kids get this. It was HORRIBLE!

Where did that come from?

Can't you just hear him saying,"cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese?"

Max has QUITE the imagination. He's also starting making connections about things like where babies come from, where people go when they drive away, things like that. Yesterday morning, this is a conversation he had with me:

Max: Mom, can you have a baby Avery?

Mom: Yes, some day.
Max: Mom, when baby Avery grows in your tummy and gets really big and walks out, can she walk into my tummy and grow in there?
Mom: She'll be too big for your tummy.
Max: But mom, she can grow in your tummy, walk out, then grow in my tummy, walk out, and THEN she can grow in Cam's tummy! That will be so funny! {lots of laughter from Max ensues and Cam joins in because who can resist a laughing Max?}
Mom: Um, yeah, I guess that would be funny.

Where do kids come up with this stuff?

I Wanna Be Like Dad

Both of my boys want to be just like their dad. How do I know this? Well, Max LOVES to vacuum and clean up our house INCLUDING scrubbing the toilets. And yes, Chris does these things as well. I am SO lucky! And I have a super clean house. Max also loves to put on Chris' clothes. SO cute!
Since Cam can now stand up to anything, he loves to play in the play kitchen and put food things together (as does Max). Chris does ALL the cooking in our house so for the boys to do the same with the play stuff.... You know how lucky I am?

Cameron also says,"Dada Dadda" when he sees Chris. It just melts my heart. Cam only says,"Mommmmm" when he's crying. Figures....

You know, Chris even cooked our Thanksgiving Dinner. Yes, the WHOLE thing! And it was SOOOOOO good!

I just love my boys.
