**Warning** This is a bit descriptive in a yucky way.
The dreaded Gambu virus FINALLY left our house. It arrived on Sunday morning and only seemed to have attached Cameron. Poor, poor Cam. He couldn't keep any food down and he just cried all the time. He just wanted me to hold him, in between all the barfing and extremely liquidy diarrhea. It was so so so sad. I think the first day, Chris and I changed Cam's bedding 4 times and did about 8 loads of laundry. JUST ON THE FIRST DAY! Day 2, Max joined in on the barfing. He threw up 3 times and he keeps reminding me how gross it was. Day 3, Cam was still sick and then Chris came home from work with the same thing. Miraculously, I still haven't gotten sick and Max seems totally fine. Cam is doing much better today and he's finally able to keep some food down. He's not back to his crazy busy self yet, but it's kindof nice to just have a mellow kiddo for once. Max is, of course, back to his crazy, loud, super busy self.
I seriously hope that none of you or your kids get this. It was HORRIBLE!
Holla!

Ugh, that is the worst! And it seems to linger in kids. Adults get sick for like a day, but a week later kids will puke again! I'm sorry your family has been sick, at least you got it over with before Christmas!
Oh memories! The night before we closed on our current house a year ago Mason got it. We were staying in a hotel and he threw up all in his car seat and was sick all night in the hotel and couldn't hold anything down. The next day we closed on our home and our first night here was miserable! We only had 1 working toilet and Zach and I were up ALL night taking turns being sick from both sides... which made it even worse! It was the worst first night to stay in a house, but one we will never forget! But, we got over it after a good long day of rest, and poor Mason took about 3 days to get back to himself. So sorry that you had to deal with that! At least it is gone by Christmas! Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!
Yuck... that sounds like no fun at all. We have been very lucky so far to have a healthy baby. I am sorry. I am glad things are geting better and I hope you dont get it.
