So far, I've lost
since my "Cry For Help" post. So, I'd just like to say THANKS to all my friends and fans out there. I'm seriously so so so motivated to look and feel better for me, my husband (although he says I'm already beautiful, but what does he know?) and my kids. I'd love to take my kids to the pool and get in the water with them without worrying how I feel. You guys are the greatest!I will continue on my trek to feeling and hopefully looking fabulous. If all goes as planned, in the next 10-12 months, I'll be at my goal. I really hope it goes that way.*muah*Jane
Hi friends! I am in search of a GREAT double stroller (side by side PLEASE). Does anyone have any advice? Without your awesome advice, all I have to go on are the reviews online (usually you only write a review if you HATE something about your purchase) or looks. If I'm going to push a jogger stroller, it has to look cute, right? :o) I know I'll be spending between $200-400, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Right now, I'm pushing Max in the jogger stroller and carrying Cam in a snuggly on my front. Kind of uncomfortable... I'd love to feel more "free" and just have to push the two kiddos.

Please please PLEASE send me suggestions!!
My mom would like me to point out that if I lose 50 lbs, I will look gross and that would be an unhealthy weight for me. SO FINE, I need to lose 40 lbs. Ok mom?? So, I just need to lose at least 37 more lbs. I'm a Baranowski (my maiden name) and we have heavy bones, not big, heavy, and lots of muscle mass (for a girl, at least). So, my goal weight, and I won't tell you what it is, is still teetering on the edge of obesity on the BMI calculator thing... but it's still in the healthy range for my height, just on the edge... I'm still motivated to lose weight and get in shape. It's a start, RIGHT?
I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all my friends out there who have given me GREAT advice about how to lose weight. I think a big part of my problem (before) is that I didn't believe I could actually lose the weight, so I need to change that right now. Since I wrote my sob post, I've lost 3 lbs. I've started counting my calories and just making sure that I'm burning off at least as many calories as I'm consuming. I'm also keeping a food diary so that I can really see how bad/good I eat. It's really making a difference (I think). So many of you sent great emails and left awesome words of encouragement. I think another thing I need to remember is that my body composition has totally changed. I will never look like I did in high school, but I have 2 cute kids instead. My body will be what it will be BUT I am in charge of how fit it is. SO, if you see me out walking, COME JOIN ME!
Thanks for all your love and support. I'm hoping to lose 50lbs, well, now I only need to lose 47. :o)
Love you all,
Jane
Here is your *WARNING* that this is kind of a depressing post. I don't really think I've posted anything about me yet, just mostly the kiddos. Notice how there aren't any picture of me on this site either? Ugh! Well, it's because I'm fat. Yes, I'm feeling super super super fat lately. I don't want to be fat so I think if I post about it then I'll have to really REALLY start working out and dieting because I'll have to report my status. Right?! I'm hoping this helps me. Mostly because I've just been feeling really depressed about it. When I was younger, I was super athletic and into every sport I had time for. From ages 13-18 I was part of the Junior Olympic Development Luge Team and competed on a Junior Olympic level (the athletic peak for Lugers is in your 20's-30's). I've got 11 medals and a gnarly scar to prove my awesomeness. Well, that was then. Back then, I was in FANTASTIC shape, only at that time, I thought I was fat. Man, I wish I could go back to those days. I'm not so concerned about how much I weigh, but I just want to fit into a certain size of clothing. Are you with me ladies?! At any rate, my favorite size was 4-6. I'm short, so this is PERFECT for me. I was this size when Chris and I started dating and then by the time we got married, I was a size 8-10. Then, as time progressed and I started working at a job that had a cafeteria in the building (yes, I'm going to try and blame it on something other than laziness) I got bigger and bigger.
When I look at myself in the mirror, I don't even recognize the person staring back at me. Actually, I'm really disgusted at what's there and I feel bad that Chris has to look at it. After I had Cam, I dropped 11 lbs, WHICH WAS SO RAD and then breastfeeding helped me drop another 10. Now that I've stopped breastfeeding, the weight is slowly coming back on. I hardly ever step on a scale because I hate the numbers that blare back at me. Geez, sorry this is kind of depressing, but this is really how I feel. Anyway, I'm really motivated to lose TONS of weight and be back to my athletic self. My only problem right now is that I have to have knee surgery (yet to be scheduled), so things like lunges and running are out (for now). I'm all for going on a long walk, hike, or doing ANYTHING SERIOUSLY! I'd prefer to lose weight the healthy way, but I just feel like my body is really working against me.
So, I need everyone's (Chelsea, you look fantastic in your posts from Canada) advice, diet tips, exercising regimes etc. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me! If the trick to losing weight is to ONLY eat yogurt and carrots, I'll do it. I just hate the *me* right now.
My apologies if you've seen me lately because I am just f a t.... And I'm not pregnant so I have nothing to blame it on.
(ps. I know that picture up there is kind of odd, but it's the only one I could find that really reflected my favorite *size*...)
